The art of supply
2.16 million LEGO elements are moulded every hour, or 36,000 per minute. The LEGO manufacturing process is so precise that only 18 of 1 million LEGO bricks produced is considered defective. More than 400 million people around the world have played with LEGO bricks.
Manufacturing of LEGO bricks occurs at several locations around the world. Moulding is done in Billund, Denmark; Nyíregyháza, Hungary; Monterry, Mexico and most recently in Juaxing, China. Brick decorations and packagins are done at plants in Denmark, Hungary, Mexico and Kladno in the Czech Republic.
